By accessing or using the Stay Amazing website (https://stayamazing.co.za) and our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.


1. Definitions

  • “Stay Amazing,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to the owner and operator of the Site.

  • “You” or “User” refers to any guest, host, or visitor using our Site or services.

  • “Booking” means a confirmed reservation for short-term accommodation facilitated by Stay Amazing.


2. Acceptance of Terms

Use of the Site and/or completion of a Booking constitutes your acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or services.


3. Bookings & Payments

  1. Confirmation
    – All Bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Stay Amazing.
    – You will receive an email confirmation once your Booking is accepted.

  2. Payment
    – Payment in full is required at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed.
    – We accept major credit/debit cards and PayPal via secure, PCI-compliant gateways.

  3. Security Deposit
    – A refundable security deposit may be held on your card at check-in.
    – Deposits are released within 7 days of checkout, subject to property inspection.


4. Cancellations & Modifications

  1. Guest Cancellations
    – Cancellations must be made through your Stay Amazing account at least 24 hours before check-in to avoid penalties.
    – Fees or forfeited payment may apply based on the property’s cancellation policy.

  2. Host Cancellations
    – Hosts must honor confirmed Bookings. In a rare event that a Host must cancel, Stay Amazing will assist in re-accommodating the Guest or issuing a full refund.

  3. Changes
    – Date or guest-count modifications are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.


5. Host Requirements

– Hosts must provide accurate property descriptions, valid ownership or leasing rights, and ensure compliance with local regulations.
– Hosts are responsible for maintaining property standards, safety, and cleanliness.


6. Guest Responsibilities

– Guests agree to respect the property, its rules, and the neighborhood.
– Any damage beyond normal wear and tear will be billed to the Guest.
– Illegal activities or excessive noise are prohibited; violations may result in eviction without refund.


7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site—text, graphics, logos, images, and software—is the property of Stay Amazing or its licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without our express written permission.


8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stay Amazing and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or services, including but not limited to loss of profits, goodwill, or data.


9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stay Amazing and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms or your use of the Site.


10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Stay Amazing reserves the right to update or revise these Terms at any time. We will post the revised “Last updated” date at the top. Your continued use of the Site following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

It is your responsibility to ensure the correct bank details are used. Stay Amazing accept no responsibility or liability for any incorrect payments.

  1. Security Deposit
    – A refundable security deposit may be held on your card at check-in.
    – Deposits are released within 7 days of checkout, subject to property inspection and any delays from your financial service provider.

  1. Guest Cancellations
    – Cancellations must be made through your Stay Amazing account at least 7 days before check-in to avoid penalties.
    – Fees or forfeited payment may apply based on the property’s cancellation policy. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fully versed on the cancellation policy of the relevant property.
  2. Host Cancellations
    – Hosts must honour confirmed Bookings. In a rare event that a Host cancels, Stay Amazing will assist, to its best endeavours, although this cannot be guaranteed, in re-accommodating the Guest or issuing a full refund.
  3. Changes
    – Date or guest-count modifications are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  1. Host Requirements

– Hosts must provide accurate property descriptions, valid ownership or leasing rights, and ensure compliance with local regulations.
– Hosts are responsible for maintaining property standards, safety, and cleanliness.

  1. Guest Responsibilities

– Guests agree to respect the property, its rules, regulations and the neighbourhood.
– Any damage beyond normal wear and tear will be billed to the Guest.
– Illegal activities or excessive noise are prohibited; violations may result in immediate eviction without refund.

Smoking in the property is dependent on the rules of each individual property. Unless specifically noted in writing, no smoking of any kind is permitted in a property.

All content on this Site—text, graphics, logos, images, and software—is the property of Stay Amazing or its licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without our express written permission.

Cancellation Policy

  • Full Refund (Up to 7 Days Before Arrival)
    Cancel at least 7 full days before your scheduled arrival date and receive a 100% refund of your nightly rate and cleaning fee.
  • Non-Refundable (Less than 7 Days Before Arrival)
    Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before check-in are non-refundable; the full nightly rate and cleaning fee will be charged.
  • Security Deposit
    Any refundable security deposit held at booking will be released within 7 days of checkout, provided there is no damage or extra cleaning required.
  • How to Cancel
    Log in to your Stay Amazing account, go to My Reservations, select the booking, and click Cancel Reservation. Any applicable refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days, subject to delay from your Financial Services Provider.

Right to Terminate

Stay Amazing and our property owners reserve the right to terminate any booking or guest stay at any time, without prior notice, for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Violation of our Terms and Conditions or House Rules
  • Safety concerns or evidence of illegal activity
  • Unauthorized additional guests or subletting
